Below is a list of some of our major projects:

 

  1. Lafayette, LA, (5/08 – present) FTTH PON; Prime splicing contractor on one of the largest municipal FTTH systems in the country. Performed closure builds, cable prep, fiber optic splicing, and certification testing. Approximate totals for the projects are as follows: closure builds- 9,000, fiber splices- 110,000, fiber tests- 60,000. Manning up to twelve techs as required. 

  2. Bowling Green, KY, (01/02 – present) Backbone Build & Lateral Splicing. Spliced and tested fiber optic backbone, to include building ring-cuts (MCA’s), junction splices, butt splices and termination splicing in the initial deployment of the fiber optic backbone network.  Splicing totals for project; 6,500 (approximate), Closure build totals for project 130 (approximate). Manning: up to 3 techs as required.

  3. Murray, KY, (10/00 – 06/01) Hybrid-Fiber Coax build out:  Spliced and tested fiber optic backbone and drops to fiber optic nodes, to include ring-cuts (MCA’s), junction splices, butt splices and termination splicing in the initial deployment of the hybrid fiber/coax network.  Splicing totals for project; 3250 (approximate), Closure build totals for project 65 (approximate). Manning: up to 3 techs as required.

  4. Nashville, TN, (08/02 – present) Splicing contractor for the Nashville Electric Service. Performed both routine and emergency splicing and testing as required. To include OPGW, ADSS, Substation splicing, and other projects as reqired.

  5. Southeast and Midwest U.S., (10/99 - present) Independent Telco FTTH systems:  Fiber splicing and testing on various FTTH systems throughout the Southeast to include closure builds on a variety of closure types, splicing of both ribbon and loose tube fiber and OTDR and loss testing as required.

  6. Southeast and Midwest U.S., (10/99 - present) Fiber optic restoration and hot-cut projects; Emergency and off hours fiber splicing and testing to repair cable damage and facilitate cable relocation projects.

  7. Dalton, GA, (04/03 – 03/04) PON FTTH; performed work as a subcontractor for Prime Contractor  performing closure builds, cable prep and fiber optic splicing. Splicing totals for project; 14,040, Closure build totals for project; 1190.  Manning: up to 5 techs as required. Total project: app. 15,000 homes passed.

  8. Jackson, TN, (03/04 – 07/05) PON FTTH(gigE PON); performed work as a subcontractor for Prime Contractor performing closure builds, cable prep, and fiber optic splicing.   Splicing totals for project; 15,767, Closure build totals for project; 1818. Manning: up to 10 techs as required. Total project: 30,000 homes passed.

  9. Sallisaw OK:  (10/04- 03/05) PON FTTH (gigE PON); performed work as a subcontractor for Prime Contractor performing closure builds, cable prep, fiber optic splicing, OTDR and loss testing, and documentation.  Splicing totals for project; 1390, Closure build totals for project; 488. Manning: up to 3 techs as required. Total project homes passed information unavailable.

  10. Provo, UT; (09/04 – 06/06) AON (Carrier Ethernet); performed work as a subcontractor for Prime Contractor performing closure builds, cable prep, fiber optic splicing, OTDR and loss testing and documentation.  Splicing totals for project; 42,405, Closure build totals for project; 2523, OTDR test totals for project; 18,411. Manning: up to 8 techs as required. Total project: app. 33,000 homes passed.

  11. North Kansas City, MO; (03/06 – 09/06) AON (Carrier Ethernet); performed work as a subcontractor for Prime Contractor performing closure builds, cable prep, fiber optic splicing, OTDR and loss testing and documentation.  Splicing totals for project; 13,445, Closure build totals for project; 377, OTDR test totals for project; 3336. Manning: up to 3 techs as required. Total project: app. 5500 homes passed.

  12. Bristol, TN, (06/05 – 08/08) PON FTTH; performed work as a subcontractor for Prime Contractor performing closure builds, cable prep, fiber optic splicing, OTDR and loss testing, and documentation.  Splicing totals for project to date; 40,841, Closure build totals for project to date; 3961, OTDR test totals for project to date; 28,353. Manning: up to 7 techs as required. Total project: app 40,000 homes passed.

  13. Clarksville, TN, (05/07 – 04/09) AON (Carrier Ethernet); performed work as a sub-contractor for Prime Contractor performing closure builds, cable prep, fiber optic splicing, OTDR and loss testing and documentation. Splicing totals for project to date; 12,678, Closure build totals for project to date; 593, OTDR test totals for project to date; 4514. Manning: up to 8 techs as required.  Total project: 55,000 homes passed.
